The Foreign Trade Development Association of the Republic of China, also known as the Foreign Trade Association, is the largest trade promotion organization in Taiwan. The Ministry of Economic Affairs, along with private industrial and commercial organizations, established it as a public welfare entity. The purpose of the Foreign Trade Association is to help businesses expand their foreign trade. The Foreign Trade Association currently has over 1,300 professionals in economics and trade both at home and abroad. It has five domestic offices, including Taoyuan in Taoyuan City, Hsinchu in Hsinchu City, Taichung and Kaohsiung. There are also more than 60 overseas bases, and over 300 visa offices throughout the world. Sister organizations of international trade promotion with agreements for cooperation have created a network that provides zero-time, real-time and borderless services. They are committed to the development of Taiwan’s economy and work with the manufacturers to achieve this. They are also the best partners to help expand trade.

SEMI established the Ministry of Energy Industry (MEI) in 2008, and organized the Energy Industry Committee, which was responsible for integrating the three main green energy supply chains, including solar power, wind power, smart energy storage, and the power grid. Through regular meetings, SEMI brought together many opinion-leaders to implement policy initiatives, and to lead the industry to close communication and cooperation. The "Green Energy and Sustainability Alliance" (GESA), in response to global trends of net-zero CO2 emissions and to accelerate the realization net-zero vision in the industry, was transformed into a new organization in August 2023. GESA is committed to achieving sustainable development and environmental goals. GESA has been a platform for cross-border communications between industry, government and academia, as well as a conduit between the government and industry to exchange green energy technology and policy. In response to the Taiwan Government's energy policies and global net-zero emissions, GESA has recently expanded its service range to include net zero fields like carbon reduction, energy efficiency, circular economy and green finance.
