International Whisky Festival 2026
The International Whisky Festival 2026 takes place in The Hague’s Grote Kerk from 13 to 15 November. Attendees can purchase entry tickets for four‑hour tasting sessions, with a VIP option offering a quieter environment, a Glencairn glass, free drams, and exclusive masterclasses. The festival features a special limited‑edition bottling sold only on‑site, an introductory course for beginners (single malt and blended whisky tasting), and a Whisky Trail guided by experienced tasters. Masterclasses, led by brand ambassadors, provide 4‑6 whiskies for groups of 20‑50. A unique "Whisky Tram" tours the city while serving samples. The on‑site whisky shop (slijterij) offers rare bottles and the festival bottling. Visitors receive a tasting glass and can buy "drams" (festival currency) at €1 each. Tickets are sold online via iDeal/Bancontact, with cancellation allowed until 30 September 2026. The event emphasizes responsible drinking and includes food, drink, and smoking areas, as well as parking and payment facilities.
