The Butterdome Spring Craft Sale (Signature Show) will be held at the Butterdome, University of Alberta (87 Ave & 114 St, Edmonton) and has been postponed to Spring 2027 due to venue renovations. It gathers 150+ Canadian artisans for a juried marketplace.

Selection Criteria (Juried Process)

• Designer & creator must be the applicant; production supervised in Canada.
• Excellence of design, quality, uniqueness, originality, and superior craftsmanship.
• Consideration of booth presentation, product packaging, and balance of product categories.
• Gourmet food & body‑care applicants may be asked for samples.

Application Requirements

• 8 product photos (high‑resolution).
• 2 studio photos (one showing the maker at work).
• 1 booth‑display photo or detailed diagram.
• 1 gallery image for online listings.
• Biography & personal craft statement.
• Step‑by‑step production‑process statement.

A valid credit‑card number is required; no deposit is taken until acceptance (then $300). If not accepted, no charge is made.

Key Dates & Fees

• First jury round deadline: end of February (annual).
• Rolling applications accepted until the show is full.
• Results communicated within a few weeks of each jury round.

Support for Emerging Artists

The New Artisan Grant Program offers a limited number of discounted booths each year, encouraging first‑time exhibitors and fresh voices.
