Madison Municipal Airport Airshow 2026
The 25th Madison Air Show returns to Madison Regional Airport (KIMS) on September 26, 2026. The event features nearly 40 aircraft on static display and a full day of aerial performances. Highlights include aerobatic acts by Tom Spielmann Air Boss, Wild Bill, and a lineup of vintage and warbird aircraft such as a De Havilland Super Chipmunk, Champion Citabria, RV‑8s, a Taylorcraft, a Navion, a Douglas A‑1 Skyraider, a Bell 407 air‑medical helicopter, an L‑39, a UH‑1 Huey, a Cessna O‑1 Bird Dog, a T‑6 Texan, a Waco "KONG", a Boeing PT‑17 Stearman, and a Douglas AC‑47 gunship. Ground attractions include a Military Vehicle History Group display, food vendors, aircraft rides, live music by 5th Seal, and a volunteer recruitment booth. Admission is $10 cash (free for children 12 and under); parking is off‑site with shuttle service. The show emphasizes community involvement, volunteer support, and a family‑friendly atmosphere.
