The 2026 ConnecTra Society Abilities Expo, themed “Connected Futures,” took place on June 8 at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Vancouver. The free, one‑day event gathered over 350 attendees—including people with disabilities, families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and service providers—and featured a diverse array of exhibitors and vendors offering adaptive technologies, accessible transportation, health and wellness resources, housing and employment services, and community recreation options. Guest speakers delivered presentations on inclusive design, innovation, and accessible technology, while sponsorship tiers (from discounted tables to Diamond partnerships) provided brand visibility and direct engagement opportunities. The expo highlighted over 40 exhibitors in prior years, offering adaptive activities, catered meals, and networking spaces. Post‑event, presentation videos will be uploaded to the Disability Foundation YouTube channel for broader access.
