NCSS Annual Conference and Trade Show 2027
The 2027 NC Society of Surveyors Annual Conference runs February 18‑20 at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort. The event features a large trade‑show floor with expanded exhibit space for vendors showcasing surveying hardware, software, and services—including GNSS receivers, total stations, UAV‑LiDAR, SLAM scanning, hydrographic equipment, utility locating, and geospatial data solutions. Sponsors and exhibitors such as All Points Surveying, AllenBuild, Avioimage, CS4, Duncan‑Parnell, eGPS, Frontier Precision, Leica, and many others will be present. Attendees can evaluate vendor performance via a post‑conference survey. Educational programming spans three days, covering AI applications, BIM integration, Subsurface Utility Engineering, modern tool case studies, new datum changes, ALTA updates, SLAM scanning, hydrographic surveying, and a technology panel. Sessions offer PDH credits and are led by industry experts. Additional highlights include a grand‑prize draw (e‑bikes and a fishing kayak), live entertainment, a charity drive for the Alpha‑gal Alliance Action Fund, and networking events such as the Young Surveyors Network reception and the Awards Banquet.
