Loop Barcelona

Loop Barcelona is a leading platform dedicated to artists' video and cinema, structured around three main events: a Fair, a Festival, and a Symposium. The 2026 edition takes place in November.

• Loop Fair: Scheduled for November 17–19, it serves as a professional and commercial hub for video art galleries and artists.
• Loop Festival: Running November 10–21, it offers a city-wide program of artists' films in collaboration with cultural institutions. It hosts premieres from the Video Creation Award, such as Maria Alcaide’s investigation into collectively-built imaginaries and Julia Montilla’s “Strawberry Fields,” which delves into the lives of seasonal women workers.
• Loop Symposium: Held November 18–19, it provides a space for debating and reflecting on artists' cinema, featuring discussions on practices like trusting, caring, collaborating, and collecting.

Loop also extends its reach through international initiatives like Loop Lab Busan, the Video Art Production Grant in partnership with the Han Nefkens Foundation, the Loop Collection, commissioned projects, and artist residencies.
