The Tewkesbury Classic Vehicle Festival, a premier fundraising event held each August, took place on 15 August 2026. Highlights included Project Bloodhound’s supersonic‑record machine, Alan Millyard’s custom 5‑litre V‑twin motorcycle built from Pratt Whitney aircraft cylinders, and Doug Bond’s 8‑litre Top‑Fuel dragster capable of 225 mph in a quarter‑mile. Terry Clarke showcased a replica of John Cobb’s 1933 Napier Railton, now powered by a 6.7‑litre twin‑turbo Cummins diesel delivering 680 hp. Entertainment featured the Haywood Sisters’ 1930s‑style song medley, Gloucester Strings, and Lindy Hop dancers. An auction offered a signed Bloodhound book by Richard Noble and Andy Green. The event charged a £5‑£7.50 entry fee, with proceeds supporting local charities, and relied on volunteer Rotarians, kitchen staff, and a 12‑year‑old parking assistant.
