Rescue Day 2026
Rescue Day Geneva 2026 is a two‑day public fair (26‑27 September) at Palexpo Hall 6 showcasing the professions of rescue, emergency response and safety. Visitors can explore a range of vehicles – high‑capacity fire trucks, airport fire‑fighting units, municipal fire engines, ambulances, rescue boats and humanitarian 4×4s – and see equipment in action. Live demonstrations feature canine search‑and‑rescue teams, animal‑rescue operations, lifeguard drills, first‑aid courses, virtual‑reality Canadair simulations, slow‑motion video souvenirs, paddle‑board water‑surveillance, hazardous‑materials handling, and emergency radio communications. The event also highlights the work of local associations, notably ASYCP, which supports families affected by the genetic disease RVRH‑XLH, with proceeds directed to them. Numerous partners and sponsors from fire services, Red Cross, aviation security, radio clubs, and safety companies provide information booths and interactive activities for all ages. Food and beverage stalls are available, making the weekend a family‑friendly introduction to the world of rescue services.
